Available Full-Time Positions:
Head Instructor/Equine Director
The Head Instructor/Equine Director is a PATH International Advanced or Master Instructor. He/she is responsible for ensuring all programs run safely and effectively for our students, volunteers, staff and equines, in accordance with PATH International standards, precautions and contraindications.
The Head Instructor/Equine Director is also responsible for the selection, training and ongoing professional development of all staff reporting to this position. He/she also oversees the smooth running of all barn functions, the practical training of program and barn volunteers, and the process of therapy horse identification, evaluation, selection and training. Finally, he/she works with the Director of Programs and the Equine Manager to coordinate daily staffing needs and horse assignments for all Pegasus programs.
