A Special Perspective Presentation by Pegasus Volunteer Barbara Kurian and Dr. Leslie Kurian – Long- time volunteer Barbara Kurian is a Psychotherapist and has spent much of her career at Four Winds Hospital in nearby Katonah which specializes in inpatient and outpatient mental health treatment services for children, adolescents and adults. Dr. Kurian is a psychiatrist as well as a Vietnam Veteran. Their presentation will shed light on some of the mental challenges that many Pegasus participants face, and how that impacts Equine Assisted Therapies.
