First-Grade Fun at Pegasus

July 16, 2015

Pegasus volunteer Monica Palansky recently brought her adorable first-grade class from St. Patrick's School in Yorktown Heights to Pegasus Farm for a field trip. Photos are posted to our Facebook page.

The students groomed and led horses, made horse treats and created beautiful ornaments for our inspiration tree. They had a blast, and we did too. A huge thank-you to everyone who helped make the day a success!

We received a package of sweet thank-you notes from the class letting us know their thoughts on the day, including these gems:

"Thank you Buttercup for letting us groom you."

"I love the activity and the horses. They were so cute."

"Thank you for letting us have a fantastic time. We loved it there."

"Thank you for letting me and my two friends lead those two horses."

"I miss Pegasus and I love all of you."
