Hoofin' It at PegasusMay 13, 2017
Our Pegasus volunteers really step up for our mission, and we’re going to PROVE it!
Thanks to a generous donation from 4imprint, we have a box of clip-on pedometers just waiting to record the thousands of steps our volunteers take each riding session at Pegasus Farm. We even have fabulous prizes for the top three travelers!
Here’s how our Hoofin’ It contest will work:
Participating volunteers will keep track of each step they take while at the farm, using a pedometer from baskets placed in the riding arena, barn and office. You do not need to be a program volunteer to Hoof It — every hardworking Pegasus volunteer is eligible!
You will simply clip the pedometer to your front waistband, and you’ll be off and running (well, actually, walking and possibly trotting)! We will provide a Hoofin’ It recording sheet next to each pedometer basket for you to record the pedometer’s starting and ending numbers every time you volunteer.
The contest will run for all six weeks of spring program, and we will award unspeakably awesome prizes to the top three Hoofin’ It winners at the 35th Annual Pegasus Horse Show during Transformations Weekend on May 19-20.
