PQ Grade 5 Visits Pegasus

April 24, 2018

On April 23, more than 60 very special guests from Pequenakonck Elementary School down the road from us in North Salem visited the farm. All of PQ's fifth-grade classes came to Pegasus Farm for a field trip, and we had SO much fun hosting them.

We took a tour of the barn and farm, met the horses and watched a horse "race" on the sensory trail. One at a time, three of our horses each did a trotting lap, and we timed them to see who would win.

Bo (grey gelding) came in first, followed by KoKo (black gelding), then little Violet (mini mare). She was only about a second behind, which is impressive given how many more steps she needs to take on those little mini legs!

Our sincerest thanks to everyone from PQ -- you were a GREAT audience, and we hope you had a lot of fun on the farm!
