A group of students with special needs from The Park School in Ossining, N.Y., recently participated in a customized program at Pegasus. Jessica, Angie, Jay-Lin, Brian and Gabe learned about riding (most of them got in the saddle for the very first time), had fun with fingerpaint, and judging by the photos, thoroughly enjoyed themselves!

The students were accompanied by Park School staff members Deb Graham, Lindy Hochberg, Val Maynes and Nancy McIntyre. Artist Melissa Merendino, a former Pegasus staff member and a current volunteer, kept the kids engaged with interactive art projects.
